New Orleans Wedding’s Magazine Feature

In this week’s blog post, we wanted to share a wedding we were featured in on New Orleans Wedding’s Magazine! Kate + Jeremy’s wedding was gorgeous! They’re a fun couple and we had a wonderful time performing for them and their amazing guests.

He took me to Christmas in the Oaks at City Park to propose and the lights were all out because it was Christmas Eve. I laughed because it was so dark; it seemed so different and quiet. He drove through the whole park trying to find a light display that was on…. *I didn’t know his plan and I said let’s go tomorrow. He ended up proposing once we got home when I was on the couch with a blanket. He even carved me a ring box out of oak and it is shaped like a flower. As you turn the box open the petals move out and it looks like a sun. He is very creative and I am very blessed.

They danced to Harvest Moon, caught up with loved ones, and closed down the night under a sky full of stars singing Wonderwall alongside the Lucky Devils Band. This day and that place were magic, a cove so intimate and remarkable with its misty air and crashing waves.
